✨ What to Expect

When your Anthrofy rug arrives, here are a few natural characteristics to be aware of:

• Color variation — Expect up to 10% variation in color due to the use of natural dyes, fibers, and lighting conditions. Each rug is truly unique. Digital screens can display colors differently. In person, you’ll notice rich tones that shift subtly with natural light.
• Size variation — Handcrafted rugs may vary 3–5% in size. This is a normal part of artisan weaving.
  
• Rug smell — When sealed for weeks in transit, rugs can develop a “new wool” scent. This will naturally air out within a few days once unrolled in a ventilated room.
  
• Wrinkles & fold marks — Rugs may arrive folded or rolled, creating temporary creases. Lay flat, vacuum lightly, and reverse-roll if needed. Wrinkles will disappear within days.
  
• Natural shedding — Shedding — Wool rugs may shed noticeably for the first 6–8 weeks. This is normal and will reduce to low shedding with regular vacuuming without a beater on low setting.
  
• Handmade charm — Minor irregularities in weave or edges highlight authentic craftsmanship, not flaws.
• Label details — Rug labels may read “75% wool, 25% cotton”. This means the rug pile (surface you see and feel) is 100% wool, while the cotton backing is simply the supportive base structure.

• Vacuum regularly — Use a suction-only vacuum or the “low” setting. Avoid rotating brush heads or beater bars that can damage fibers.
  
• Treat spills quickly — Blot (never rub) with a clean, dry cloth. For tougher stains, use mild soap with cold water.
  
• Avoid harsh cleaners — Steer clear of bleach, chemicals, or steam cleaners.
  
• Protect from sunlight — Continuous direct sunlight may fade colors. Use blinds, rotate the rug, or move it seasonally.
  
• Expect light shedding — Natural wool rugs may shed for the first few months. This is normal and will decrease with regular vacuuming.
  
• Deep cleaning — Every 12–18 months, use a trusted professional rug cleaner for a full refresh.
  
• Use a rug pad — Prevent slipping, protect floors, and extend the rug’s life with a non-slip pad underneath.

• Shipping time — The estimated shipping time is always displayed just below the product price. Once your order is dispatched, most rugs arrive within 5–8 business days.
  
• Oversized rugs — Larger rugs require extra handling time:
  
  9×12 ft → add 5–7 business days
  
  10×14 ft → add 10–15 business days
  
  12×15 ft & 12×18 ft → add 15–20 business days
  
  
• Hand-knotted rugs — These pieces are made-to-order with artisanal care and take approximately 30–50 days to craft and deliver.
  
• Stock availability — For quick-ship rugs, please check with us to confirm availability before placing an order.
  
• Tracking — You’ll receive a tracking link as soon as your rug leaves our workshop or warehouse.
  
• Returns — If you’re not completely satisfied, you may return your rug within 14 days of delivery. Rugs must be unused, in original packaging, and free of damage.
• Unboxing video — Please record a short video while unboxing your rug from the moment the package is opened. In case of any shipping or quality concerns, sharing this video with us will help resolve issues quickly.

Return & Refund Policy

At Anthrofy Rugs, your satisfaction is our top priority. We understand that buying rugs online can be tricky, and we want to ensure a smooth and fair experience for all our customers. Please read our return and refund policy carefully.

✅ Return Window

We offer a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

📝 How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please contact us at contactus@anthrofyrugs.com with the following:

• Your order number
• Reason for return
• Clear photos or video of the item (especially for damaged or incorrect products)
• Unboxing video — Please record a short video while unboxing your rug from the moment the package is opened. In case of any shipping or quality concerns, sharing this video with us will help resolve issues quickly.
  
  

We will review your request and respond within 1–2 business days with further instructions.

📦 Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return:

• The rug must be unused, unwashed, and in its original condition and packaging.
• Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.
• Proof of damage or issue must be provided if claiming a defective item.

🚚 Return Shipping

• If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will provide a prepaid return label at no cost to you.
• For all other reasons (change of mind, wrong size ordered, color mismatch, etc.), customers are responsible for the return shipping cost. You must ship the product back to our U.S. return address provided during the return process.

Please note: We recommend using a trackable shipping service for your return. You may request for a shipping label from us. The charges will be deducted from the refund amount.

Our return facility is located in the U.S. The exact address will be provided after your return request is approved.

💵 Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund:

• Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.
• Shipping charges (original and return, if applicable) are non-refundable unless the item was damaged or incorrect.

• You receive the wrong item
